One of my mantras has always been that life is led by choice and not by chance. Recently someone asked me if I actually whole-heartedly believed this, which compelled me to explain why this is something I live by every day. It’s true that we cannot always control the cards we are dealt in life but what we can control is how we choose to play them, how we respond, and who we choose to be. Life isn’t always easy, but accepting that you choose your reality is an immensely powerful act.
